Unawatuna is one of the most vibrant beach stretches you will find anywhere on the island. The crescent shaped bay is very popular amongst the backpackers as well as young travellers and it is host to numerous bars, cafes and clubs. If you want to let loose, there is a party on somewhere in the stretch almost every night of the week and goes on till the early hours of the morning.
